WebMD: Shungite Stones: What Do They Do?
Some people believe that shungite stones are like crystals and have healing properties. But shungite stones don’t offer all the health benefits they are supposed to have. Still, they can help in some very targeted areas and show promise in others. Ready full article here: Article
Health.com: What Is Shungite?
Shungite is a carbon-rich metallic black stone often used in complementary or alternative medicine. While many people consider shungite a healing crystal, it is technically a mineraloid. This natural substance is similar to a mineral but doesn’t meet the structural and chemical requirements to be considered such. Most shungite originates from a village called Sunga in Karelia, Russia, where it has been used for healing and water purification for hundreds of years. Read full article here: Article
Healthline.com: What Is Shungite and Does It Have Healing Properties?
In recent years, healing crystals have become increasingly popular. These stones are believed to possess qualities that can enhance the health of your mind, body, and soul in various ways.
Healing crystals are generally used as a form of complementary and alternative medicine. Complementary medicine is a practice thatโs used in combination with standard therapies, while alternative medicine is used instead of it.
There are many types of healing crystals, but some are exceptionally unique. One example is shungite, a rare stone thatโs said to work against pollutants, free radicals, and harmful germs. There are also claims that it may help shield you from electromagnetic field exposure.
Letโs take a closer look at shungite and its uses. Weโll also explore what the science says about this stone, plus how itโs traditionally used. Read full article here: Article
One of the first accounts of Shungite & healing.
The first documentation of Shungite’s medical properties can be traced back to historical records from the early 17th century. At that time, Tsarina Marfa Ivanovna, also known as Ksenia Romanova, was in exile in Zaonezhie, residing in Tolvui pogost. She was plagued by painful seizures that nearly took her life. The Karelian peasants came to her rescue, introducing her to “a spring infused on a black stone,” which was essentially Shungite water. This so-called “living” water had been used for generations by the locals for healing purposes.
Thanks to the miraculous properties of the Shungite water, Tsarina Marfa not only recovered from her illness but later gave birth to a healthy child, something she had struggled with, as all her previous children had died in infancy. This child, Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov, born in Zaonezhie, not only survived to adulthood but also went on to found a new dynasty. This historical event further solidified the belief in the healing properties of shungite water.
National Library of Medicine: Shungite (Mineralized Carbon) as a Promising Electrode Material for Electro analysis.
In this study, two different types of amorphous carbonaceous Precambrian rock, classified as noble elite shungite and black raw shungite, were tested as possible electrode materials of natural origin. Both types were machined into cylindrical shapes to form the corresponding solid electrodes and their physicochemical and electrochemical properties were compared with the standard glassy carbon electrode.
The raw stones were first subjected to microscopic imaging by using scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, both of which indicated significant differences in their morphology and in the content of impurities. An electrode prototype manufactured from noble elite shungite with a carbon content of about 94% has offered a very satisfactory electrochemical performance with a nearly identical heterogeneous electron-transfer rate constant of 7.8 ร 10โ3 cm sโ1 for ferro/ferricyanide redox couple, a slightly narrower potential range (~2.1 V) and a relatively low double-layer capacitance, resulting in low background currents comparable to those at the GCE. In contrast, the second electrode based on black raw shungite with a carbon content of ca. 63% exhibited markedly worse electrochemical properties and more than four times higher double-layer capacitance, both of which were probably due to the presence of poorly conductive impurities: Study
Rock & Gem Magazine Online: What are Shungite Rocks?
What are shungite rocks? It is sometimes hard to believe with all our scientific advances that itโs still possible for scientists to discover something new about the everyday world that surrounds us. But they do and that is exactly what happened with shungite. Shungite benefits are just now being explored and people are finding out how they can benefit from this unique rock. Experimental Life Energy Meter tested Cosmic Silver Shungite Water Beads
Wilhelm Reich, a pioneering Austrian-born medical doctor, developed radical theories that challenged mainstream science. After working with Freud, Reich’s controversial ideas led him to create his own therapeutic method, vegetotherapy. His research into a mysterious energy he named Orgone, believed to be responsible for life processes, resulted in groundbreaking inventions like the Orgone accumulator and Cloudbuster. These devices harnessed Orgone energy, which Reich argued could influence physical processes, including weather modification and even cancer treatment. Despite opposition from governments and the destruction of his work, Reich’s exploration of life energy inspired various technologies designed to measure or harness this force.
Similarly, the ‘Experimental Life Force Meter’ is an example of modern technology that aligns with Reichโs concept of life force energy, offering a way to detect and explore the subtle energies he devoted his career to understanding.
