Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses. This mineral was first discovered on the Isle of Paul near the Labrador Peninsula in Canada. It was founded by the Moravian missionary and bears the name from its location. Labradorite is renowned for its mirage of colors and display of Labradorescence. Labradorite treats disorders of the eyes and brain, stimulates mental acuity, and relieves anxiety and stress. It regulates metabolism, balances hormones and relieves menstrual tension. Labradorite treats colds, gout, and rheumatism, lowers blood pressure, and aids in digestion.
